This time of year the weather is cooler and atmospheric, there are vibrant colours in the forest and a high chance of fog clinging to the landscape.

I’ve had to take time away from doing what I love, and at my favourite time of year. I love the colder autumn and winter landscapes. Torn ligaments in my ankle have stopped me from walking

Everyone has their interpretation of what good weather is, mine doesn’t follow the norm. I like nearly anything except hot, my favourite though is the transition from autumn to winter.

Waking up early as usual I decided at short notice to leave the house and head for the hills.

I had to count all of the way up to zero

I’m still struggling to find time, although it is getting better. The renovation project is still ongoing and will be for many months yet! On top of this, I’ve also been sick.

Surprisingly, one change can have a large effect on your perspective.
